Pretty pastel shades are the perfect way to introduce some colour into your bathroom if you aren’t so keen on bold statement colours. You can add them in using tiles, paint, furniture or just in your accessories or soft furnishings.
As ever with a bathroom colour scheme, adding a feature wall will be a great place to start. This could be done using tiles or paint and it could be the entire wall or just part. Sea foam green or duck egg blue work really well for a bathroom and when used in a feature wall won’t overwhelm, but rather work as a subtle brightener, bringing spring into your bathroom.
Another way to introduce pastel tones into your bathroom is to go for coloured furniture – cabinets, basin and vanity units for example. You can shop around for a new suite or you could try upcycling your existing furniture with a lick of paint (if it is suitable for painting) for a more eclectic look. You could try a pale raspberry shade, or how about a soft denim blue?
If you aren’t in the market for new furniture or you don’t fancy completely redecorating, you can introduce some pastel shades into your bathroom simply by adding in colourful accessories. You could add small things such as pastel coloured scented soaps, toothbrush holders and soap dispensers in pale yellow or choose towels and mats in pretty pastels.
