Deck The Halls…And The Bathroom!

Main Image

You’ve got the tree up, there’s glitter and tinsel everywhere, fairy light twinkling, but what about the bathroom?

There’s no reason why it can’t be festive as well, in fact we think it deserves to be just a festive as the rest of the house!

Candles are good for providing a warm, cosy light for relaxing in the bath over the festive period – you can use LED ones for safety if you prefer. Either way, you’ll create a cosy atmosphere and give some festive warmth to the room.

Filling the room with festive scents is another good idea. This time of year there are Christmas versions of all your usual toiletries available, shower gel, hand soap, even festive bleach! Toilet paper with a festive pattern is also a must. Continue the Christmas theme with some Christmassy red towels, or how about getting some with a fair isle or snowflake pattern?

So how about actual decorations? Can you go too far with the tinsel? Not in my opinion! However, if you don’t agree, here are a few more subtle ideas from us…

You could maybe tie some red or gold ribbon around draw or cupboard handles.  A small wreath with holly and berries will look just lovely hung on the bathroom door. If you want to go for ornaments, why not put a few small ones on the windowsill or on a shelf? A really effective but simple idea would be to pile some baubles into a glass jar or vase.

So, now you have some inspiration from us, there really is no excuse not to extend the Christmas decorating throughout the whole house!
